Resonant People Sound Bath

Workshop leader - Dominic Swinn

Ume is a beautiful Yoga studio in Downtown Oakland and is now the official new home of Resonant People Project Sound Baths. The studio itself is big, well equipped and beautifully decorated.

I really hope you can join me for this healing journey into sound and vibration.

If this is your first Sound Bath congratulations on giving yourself this experience! All you have to do is show up, lay down, and take in the healing tones of the Quartz Crystal Bowls. It's like an adult slumber party!

The sounds interact powerfully with our bodies, cleansing and rejuvenating us at the deepest cellular levels; physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Blocks and tensions are washed away, leaving you centered, refreshed, energized, and fully present and connected with the world around you.

Sound therapies like Crystal Bowl Sound Baths bring profound states of balance back to the physiology of the body, mind, and soul. The brain begins to synchronize and drop into the alpha/theta brain wave states, producing reduced anxiety levels, lowering blood pressure, creating an increase in immune cell messengers and a boost in natural opiates, called endorphins. These hormones are the body’s natural pain killers.

“If we accept that sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. One reason sound heals on a physical level is because it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual planes. Sound can redress imbalances on every level of physiologic functioning and can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.”

The Healing Power of Sound ~ Dr Mitchell Gaynor.

PRICE: $20

Money remaining after the yoga studio costs will go to my non-profit, Resonant People Project - www.resonantpeople.org

IMPORTANT: Everyone will need to sign a waiver for the studio when you are arrive. Doors open at 2:15pm and will close at 2:30pm to minimize disturbance. Please give yourself time to set up. The information I give at the start and the relaxation exercises are essential for the best possible experience.
