Biography: Why Yoga?      I come back to my mat to find a deeper connection with myself- mind, body, breath and spirit. My practice challenges my self-imposed limits, creating space for my body to surprise me in its strength, endurance and grace. I take this off my mat by practicing patience and compassion and letting go of things or thoughts that no longer serve me. Whenever I need grounding, I know a few deep breaths and some time on my mat will bring me back to center.      Who or what inspires you?      I am inspired by authentic, powerful and soft women who live and love big! By the words of Rumi, Maya Angelou and Beyonce.      Three Words that Describe your Teaching Style:      Powerful. Breathy. Communal.      Where is your calm place?      I feel the most at peace in or surrounded by water, especially Lake Tahoe!      Current guilt pleasure?      Searching the web for a puppy to adopt
