I come back to my mat to find a deeper connection with myself- mind, body, breath and spirit. My practice challenges my self-imposed limits, creating space for my body to surprise me in its strength, endurance and grace. I take this off my mat by practicing patience and compassion and letting go of things or thoughts that no longer serve me. Whenever I need grounding, I know a few deep breaths and some time on my mat will bring me back to center.
