This 90 minute workshop is designed to get you familiar with TRX basics. We will cover proper form, how to stay safe in class, as well as ways to tailor the exercises to your specific fitness level. Why Yoga: I started practicing yoga, as a teen, to relieve stress and stretch my tight athlete body. However the benefits of the practice greatly surpassed my initial expectations. Overtime, yoga has guided me toward a greater sense of self-confidence, presence, and inner peace. I am truly thankful for the benefits yoga has had on my life, and I am equally grateful to share this ancient science of self-discovery and healing with others. I am inspired people doing selfless, kind things for each other, for animals, and for the environment. Also I love inspirational quotes; one of my all time favorites is by Nelson Mandela. "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."
I am inspired by and deeply grateful to my teachers Mynx Inatsugu, Lakshmi Norwood, and Richard Rosen. Taking the ancient yogic wisdom that my teachers have shared with me, contemplating and applying it to my day-to-day life, enlivens my teaching and uplifts my life.

My calm place is somewhere between exhale and inhale. I love pranayama, it's a staple in my home practice, and I try to include in all my classes as well!
